Hi, I’m Katy!
I’m a boudoir and wedding photographer based in Kansas, and truly — this is my dream job. Like, pinch-me, still-can’t-believe-it kind of dream job.
I’m a natural creative, a positive and cheerful spirit, and I have a heart that loves, loves, loves to serve people. Put all of that together and it makes a lot of sense why I do what I do.
I got my first “real” camera years ago and fell hard.
I hope you can feel that when you’re here.
Like this-is-it hard. I was working in retail management at the time, and my life slowly started revolving around photography in every spare second I had.
The people around me saw how important to me this was, and how much I loved it, and they encouraged me to go all in.
I worked my butt off. I learned fast. I cared a lot. And here we are.
How I Got Here

The little moments. The big feelings. The things that deserve to be honored even if they happen quietly.
I cheered in high school and college
and yes, you’ll probably be able to tell within a few seconds of meeting me. I’m your hype-woman through and through.
I’m originally from Florida
but I’m a full-on Kansas girl now. NOTHING beats our sunsets and the Flint Hills as photo backdrops. Nothing.
Free time is rare as a working parent
but I try to soak it up when I can.
Zoo dates with Lettie, a mom-friendly gym run (with a 7 Brew stop after), book club, or making our home feel extra cozy.
I try my best to live for Jesus
but I also love a glass (or two) of red wine, good queso, and a margarita girls night. Both things can be true.
I genuinely try to see the best in people.
I really believe everyone has good in them and that belief shows up in the way I photograph.
Big family gal over here.
Big on quality time. Big on taking Sundays off when I can. If I’m not working, I’m probably with my girl, soaking up the moments that go way too fast.

And honestly? I love it.
When I do have free time, I’m probably:
- visiting or Facetiming my out-of-state fam
- working out with my trainer
- grocery shopping at Trader Joe's
- READING — book club days are sacred
Why I Photograph the Way I Do
I want you to feel confident. Comfortable. Seen. Celebrated. Like you can actually breathe and be yourself instead of worrying about what to do with your hands.
I’ll guide you when it’s helpful, hype you up when you need it, and step back when the moment deserves to just… happen.
You don’t need to perform in front of me. You just need to show up.
